Breast uplift surgery , is a procedure that firms and lifts the breasts to restore the former, fuller appearance of your bust line. Breast Lift Procedure?

Sensation is kept because the nipples and areolas remain attached to underlying mounds of tissue, which also allows the ability to breast-feed.

How long does breast lift surgery take?

Breast lift is an operation that usually takes 2 hours to complete using a general anaesthetic and normally as a day case. An overnight stay at one of the affiliated private clinics can be arranged.

What will happen in the recovery period ?

Following the operation you will have a light dressing in place with a supporting bra which will need to be worn for 4 weeks. The scars will be firm and pink for at least six weeks and may remain the same size for several months and it is important to keep in mind that they may take up to 1 year to fade.

What is the recovery time ?

This will depend on the individual patient however most patients are able to go back to work after a week. Although you can walk about and do very light activities from the next day it is advisable not to do anything strenuous for 7-10 days. The average recovery time is between 1-2 weeks.
